Miriam-Rose LeDuc

Miriam-Rose LeDuc is a multipassionate artist, dancer, and choreographer. She has appeared in multiple leading roles with Chicago Repertory Ballet, including Lady Macbeth in Wade Schaaf’s Macbeth and Lady Capulet in The Capulets.

As a choreographer, LeDuc premiered her first original work, Morning Song, at Joffrey Tower in 2017 and has since created works including Reflection (2017), Into Each Life (2018), Creekwood (2018), and Our Mother (2025). Drawing from her experience as both an artist and a mother, her work advocates for a more inclusive future for dance: one that welcomes parents and caregivers into the studio and onto the stage.

LeDuc holds a bachelor’s degree in ballet and business from Indiana University. Outside of her artistic pursuits, she consults with purpose-driven businesses on marketing and operational strategy. She lives in the greater Chicago area with her husband, composer Matty Mattsson, and their daughter.
